How to Operate the Fiber Optic Splicing Machine?

The basic operation when using TUOLIMA Fiber Fusion Splicer:

Step 1: Battery supply operation: using the polymer lithium battery in the splicer to separately supply for the fiber fusion splicer.

Step 2: Turn on the splicing machine: Press the button on the operator panel until the LED indicator lights turn from green to red, release the button.

Step 3: Cover fiber protection sleeve: Put the fiber through the fiber protection sleeve.

Step 4: Preparation of fiber end-face: Use fiber stripper to strip the fiber coating layer, the length is 30-40mm. Then use the alcohol wiper to wipe clean the fiber. Finally use the fiber cleaver to cut the bare fiber and get the clean fiber end-face.

Step 5: Place fiber: Put the bare fiber end-face in the V-shaped groove; ensure the tip of the fiber between the tip of the electrode and the V-shaped groove's edge.

Step 6: Turn off the splicing machine: Press the button on the operator panel until the LED indicator lights turn from red to green, now the machine is turned off.
